La Maison provides its own take on the gastro-brasserie concept, offering high quality food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The restaurant is located in an old bourgeois house that, in spite of its hip interior makeover, has lost none of its period charm. La Maison is a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds!
Head chef Laurent Vernet and his team work day-in, day-out to offer a unique and delightful dining experience. Traditional dishes rub shoulders with more original creations on a menu that is periodically refreshed in line with the changing seasons.
Lovers of traditional French cuisine will immediately be attracted to classics such as steak tartare, chicken supreme and the 7-hour slow roasted shoulder of lamb, while more adventurous eaters will be drawn towards the grilled calamari and glazed pork with honey and rosemary.
And for those looking to finish their meal on a sweet note, there are two options available: an array of fresh fruity desserts, or a selection of indulgent gourmet puddings including chocolate mousse, cream puff with salted butter caramel and a white chocolate ‘Himalaya’ with yuzu fruit.
This little gem of a restaurant also has a hidden treasure to reveal. Its garden and outdoor bar form the perfect setting to enjoy a delicious house cocktail in the shadow of the plane trees, while even enjoying a game of pétanque!
La Maison is open every day apart from Saturday lunchtime and Sunday.
The Menu of the Day costs €23 (on the basis of ordering starter-main-dessert, with a choice between two starters and two dishes of the day).
If ordering from the à la carte menu, budget for between €40 and €55.
