Blessed with endless enthusiasm, Carole joined the OKKO HOTELS adventure at the start of 2017 as the Head of Cost Accounting in our finance department.
WHAT IS YOUR MISSION AT OKKO HOTELS?
My mission at OKKO HOTELS is to provide support to the hotel managers in all matters relating to cost accounting (harmonising internal processes, paying suppliers, monitoring customer payments, etc.). Both the position and the OKKO HOTELS brand won me over immediately. It’s a multidimensional role that demands a broad range of knowledge and skills, whether it be management, organisation, auditing, consultancy, analysis... I could go on! As for OKKO HOTELS, it’s a bright and innovative group with a genuinely inspiring team of staff who really motivate you to get involved.
WHY THE HOTEL INDUSTRY?
I was bitten by the hotel bug when I was little, thanks to the various members of my family who worked in the sector. Above all it was my dad, who took me travelling and had me stay in hotels in several countries. I’m passionate about the profession. It combines travelling, service, human contact, management and finance, all at the same time!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE HOTEL?
A hotel where each employee is passionate about offering a warm welcome, delivering services and greeting guests with a smile. Something that every member of the team at OKKO HOTELS cares deeply about. Which may seem corporate, but it’s true.
